Prepare to be captivated by the timeless elegance of Villa Serao , a remarkable historic residence once owned by the renowned writer Matilde Serao. Located just a 15-minute walk from Ischia’s port, the villa has welcomed distinguished guests over the years, all drawn by its serene atmosphere and breathtaking views.
Perched on a private promontory, Villa Serao enjoys a truly privileged position: centrally located yet exceptionally secluded, with stunning panoramic views over the sea. The property offers direct access to the water via a private path, where medium-sized boats can dock for guest pick-up, creating a unique and refined arrival experience.
The outdoor areas are the true highlight of the estate: 2.5 hectares of Mediterranean gardens , a spectacular sea-facing saltwater pool , expansive sunbathing areas, and a Finnish sauna , perfect for moments of complete relaxation overlooking the horizon.
The interiors, recently renovated, combine sophistication and comfort. The ground floor features a spacious double living room, dining area, fully equipped separate kitchen, and a guest bathroom. The first floor hosts the sleeping area with four double bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, including a master suite with a private lounge and walk-in closet. A fifth independent double bedroom with en-suite bathroom is located on the ground floor, offering additional privacy.
Villa Serao is the perfect setting for luxury stays, family holidays, or private events , enhanced by bespoke services such as a private chef, sunset massages, boat and yacht charters, and dedicated concierge assistance.
