Holly House is a 2 unit Victorian style home within walking distance to Downtown Ipswich shops, restaurants, Historic High St and MBTA as well as Bialek Park, Willowdale State Forest, CSA Farms and many other amenities. Walk next door to the Historic 1640 Hart House for dinner or spend the day visiting the Crane Estate and Crane Beach! Unit 1 is on the first floor where you will enjoy minimal stairs (only to get in) and the convenience of 2 bedrooms, living room and fully equipped kitchen with sunny breakfast nook. The beautiful gardens create an enchanting oasis away from the road. This location is perfect for couples or family wanting a summer beach getaway, holiday stay while visiting friends and family, weddings, or corporate stay! This is good environment for working from home or home schooling while you are away using our high speed internet!

The Holly House was a wonderful accommodation for my daughter and myself. The property was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Additionally its location was wonderful for exploring Ipswich or any of the surrounding areas. The only problem was I didn’t want to leave!

We stayed 5 nights for wedding festivities.
Pros: exceptionally clean, well equipped, lovely landscape
Cons: tired furnishings, odor in entry hall so we used back entrance, mattress uncomfortable, shower faucet failed and could not be shot off, toilet handle broke off in our hand, the glass shower door came off the track.
The owners responded within a half hour to our call for help and had the plumbing was repaired same day but I think the whole thing could have been avoided if their cleaning crew reported the problems prior to our arrival. No reimbursement was offered for our inconvenience.
