Each well-appointed unit includes its very own private lanai (balcony). The complex also has coin-operated laundry facilities on property for your convenience. Kauhale Makai’s location on South Kihei Road makes it the perfect base for exploring this magical island. Unit was very clean and exactly how listed. The bed was a little soft for me but it was in good condition. I was super happy that the A/C worked well and that there were fans in the closet for our use. We definitely used the beach chairs and cooler! Even though there was no washer and dryer in the unit, the laundry room was right outside our door. It was very continently located and easy to use. The living room TV wouldn’t connect to the internet, so we had to go to Walmart and buy a Roku stick to watch TV, but that was ok. I would absolutely stay here again!

It’s a nice clean apartment with everything you need for Maui stay. Lots of towel, ice igloo and beach chairs they offered. The place is neat and new. Everything wort. The only thing is the you need to drive 3 minutes to see the restaurant. No big deal for us since we rented a car. I recommend this place.
