The Farmhouse at Lindwood offers 3-bedroom and 2-full bathrooms with enough space to accommodate up to 6 guests.
The house combines the old fashion charm of a farmhouse with modern comforts such as WiFi, Smart TV's, Washer & Dryer, and Air Conditioning. For those that love to cook, prepare a home cooked meal in the fully equipped kitchen then gather around the large dining room table to enjoy your family dinner.
However you spend your time while at The Farmhouse at Lindwood, this peaceful property will quickly become your home away from home.
The farmhouse is located on a real working horse farm, so from time to time you will see farm equipment during your stay and if you happen to be here between January and June, you may have the opportunity to witness the birth of a foal.
Enjoy the beauty of the horses and farm views from almost every room in the house. Guests have use of the entire farmhouse with the exception of the attic, basement and garage.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the views of the property, walking trails, and farm fish pond. Guests are not permitted inside the horse pastures or barns unless accompanied by the property hosts. Walking up to the horse fence to view the horses is permitted. Fishing is allowed at the farm pond, but all fish must be caught and released. Sorry, but we do not allow swimming at the farm pond.
For our equestrian guests, Lindwood Farm offers a place to board your horse during your stay.
We are conveniently located near ski resorts, golf courses, white water rafting, amusement parks, casinos, bike trails, breweries, wineries and the beautiful Laurel Highlands. Less than an hour drive from Pittsburgh and just minutes away from local shopping and restaurants.
No parties, events or outside guests permitted unless approved in advance by the property hosts. Smoking is prohibited (this includes smoking, vaping, ALL tobacco products, and e-cigarettes.) Children must be supervised at all times.
The Farmhouse at Lindwood does not allow pets.

The farm house is a beautiful place to stay and relax. We spent most of our free time on the amazing screened in porch. We enjoyed watching the horses by day and the fireflies by night. The location is peaceful and quiet. The house has plenty of space for a large family or in our case, a party of three adults. Greensburg was close and had plenty of yummy food options. If we are in the area again, we would definitely stay at the farmhouse again

It was lovely. There was an array of snacks and coffees. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. A very sunny house with horses in the back yard and across the street. I'm sure we will stay again on our next visit to PA. My only negative was the twin bed was a bit uncomfortable. Thanks Gina for being a great host.

Gina is as the perfect host. Everything was exactly as it was posted. She checked in to see if we needed anything. We would definitely stay at this location again.

Our family stayed to attend my daughter's graduation at Pitt. The setting is absolutely beautiful and the house is lovely. It was very clean, plenty of comfy beds, and a nice kitchen. We did not get to use the screened in porch because it was still chilly, but I'm sure it would be a wonderful place to eat breakfast. We came at the perfect time to see the foals (4 were born during our stay) and Gina took the time to take us on a tour of the farm and hear about its history. She was an absolutely lovely host and even overnighted the glasses I left behind! With my daughter planning to live in Pittsburgh and a niece still in college there, I'm sure we will be back.
