It was definitely a lake view but we really didn't get to enjoy. We tried to take a nap upon arrival but was unable to fall asleep due to the running and stomping overhead. No sound proof. We could hear a dog barking throughout the stay. We tried to visit the local restaurant, but it was not open around lunch/early afternoon. Nothing was really close by. I feel like it was too much money for what we got.
