Lovely barn conversion situated on the owner’s working farm with great views of the Cambrian Mountains.. Ground Floor:
Kitchen: Breakfast Bar, Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher
Bedroom 1: Zip And Link Super Kingsize Bed (2 x Singles On Request)
Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet
Bathroom: Bath, Walk-In Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet
First Floor:
Living/dining room: Freeview Smart TV, Patio Doors Leading To Large Balcony Area With Garden Furniture. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. External utility room with washing machine.. Enclosed back garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture and BBQ. Sauna (private). Balcony. 2 small dogs welcome. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Ysgubor Blaenparc Barn is situated on the owner’s working farm, (small dogs welcome) with fabulous views over the Cambrian Mountains, perfect for exploring the Cardigan coastline. There are over 60 miles of glorious coastline in Cardigan Bay, with lots of beaches and coves. The pretty coastal resort and fishing village of New Quay and the colourful Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron can be easily reached within a 20-minute drive as well as the coves of Cwmtydu and Llangrannog. You’re very likely to see dolphins in the bay and there are boat trips available to watch them and the other wildlife. The Victorian seaside and university town of Aberystwyth is also within easy reach, and here you’ll find a traditional pier, promenade and the old electric cliff railway to the summit of Constitution Hill, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the bay.
If outdoor activities are your thing, there are plenty of options for walkers and cyclists of all abilities at the National trust estate Llanerchaeron as well as horse riding, canoeing and more. You can enjoy a day out at the National Trust Dolaucothi Gold Mines at Pumpsaint, the Silver Mountain Experience (silver-lead mines) at Ponterwyd or the red kite feeding centre at Bwlch Nant Yr Arian. Why not take a trip on a traditional steam train from Abersytwyth to the falls at Devil’s Bridge?

We had a lovely week in January out every day exploring and back to a lovely warm cottage which had everything you needed including a sauna. Amazing starter pack and homemade delicious cakes. One of the best cottages we have been to.

This cottage is absolutely wonderful, well equipped and in a nice quiet location. The personal touches such as the extensive welcome basket, bread, bacon and milk in the fridge were fantastic and greatly appreciated. Also special mention to Sandra the host for making our kids' room up for them with toys, games and teddies.The cottage itself is perfect for a winter getaway due to its coziness, warmth and facilities - you need not leave if you didn't want to! - but also just as good for a summer break with an enclosed area and balcony.The location is near to towns such as Newquay and Aberaeron, then also Lampeter if you need to do an extensive food shop.We were a family of 4 (2 girls under 6) and 2 dogs. We will be returning, it's a beautiful part of the world. Thank you Sandra and Geraint.

Beautiful stay at a beautiful cottage. Lots of very sweet little touches like our welcome hamper, which included treats for our little one and our dog. Views were outstanding. Idyllic location, out of the way from everything. We took our 6 month old and were kindly provided with a travel cot and highchair for our stay. We picked up some other bits from the local Sainsbury’s. Would definitely recommend and would stay again next time we visit Cardigan. Thank you!
