What a wonderful and romantic stay we had in Manarola! The views are breathtaking from every place we visited. We enjoyed wandering through the village and discovering where the passages led us. The locals were cordial and gracious. The cuisine is great and we had excellent service every place we went. The apartment had every amenity we could want- and then some. We cannot have picked a better place for our 30th anniversary.Post Script: Manarola is UPHILL. We were surprised by the steep grades - which were difficult (not impossible) with luggage. The apartment is also on the third or fourth floor. The climb up the steps with a large-ish suitcase was hard. These things would not have altered the stay, but we might have stowed the big luggage and come with smaller packs or arranged for a “porter.”
