Experience a luxurious beach vacation in this fully restored 1920s 1-bed/1-bath apartment, just 30 seconds from the beach. This charming upstairs retreat seamlessly blends historic features with modern amenities. Enjoy a 2-minute walk to the King & Prince Hotel or a 10-minute stroll to the village. High-quality bedding, towels, kitchen supplies, and thoughtful touches throughout ensure a 5-star stay.
The space
Living Area:
Bright and open with heart pine beadboard, a cozy couch, and a 55" 4k TV with soundbar. Three big windows offer views of the neighborhood park.
Kitchen:
Modern and fully equipped with shaker-style cabinets, butcher block countertops, a 5-burner gas stove, Bosch dishwasher, LG refrigerator, and a stacked LG washer/dryer.
Bedroom:
Features a queen-sized bed, exposed brick chimney, full-length mirror, and ample storage with custom-built shelving.
Bathroom:
Spacious and updated with floor-to-ceiling marble tile, a large shower, antique vanity with a square sink, and privacy blinds on a large window.
Guest access
Secure Access: Stanton C is accessed through a secure upstairs hallway.
Parking: Convenient parking is located in front of the house.
Outdoor Sitting Area: Enjoy a semi-private outdoor sitting area on the large porch, perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks.
Private Entrance: The flat’s private entrance is situated on the right side of the upstairs hallway. The hallway includes hooks for hanging beach towels and a seating area for relaxing or putting on shoes.
Keyless Entry: All doors feature keyless locks programmed to your phone number.

The rental property smelled like a combination of cigarette smoke and musty. I realize it was built around 1920, however. The sofa in the living area was very uncomfortable. The showerhead was not connected, and leaked cold water. Also, the water in the entire unit did not get hot, except for the first night. Location was good. Great access to beach. Bedroom was cold, and hard to get to a satisfactory temperature. We did enjoy our stay in St. Simons. And it was nice to be able to stay on the beach later, due to close proximity of VRBO.
