With privacy and comfortable furnishings, Sunset on Seventeen lives up to its name as it faces the 17th fairway of The Currituck Club golf course and the Currituck Sound which is renowned for its beautiful sunsets. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac, kids can ride their bikes or play outdoors. This lovely home has plenty of room and amenities for the entire family to enjoy plus bring the family dog (up to 2 dogs allowed, less than 50-lbs. each) for a vacation too!
Beds: 2 Kings (1 Masters), 3 Queens (2 Masters), 2 Day Beds with Trundles; 14 Towel Sets provided
ENTRY LEVEL:
The large Great Room has beautiful western views from its cathedral ceiling and 2-story windows. The comfortable seating in the living area is ideal for socializing or TV viewing. A separate sitting room is nearby that has a desk if some “office-time” is needed. The dining area has seating for 10 and a separate breakfast table has seating for up to 6. The well-equipped kitchen is designed for preparing meals using upgraded appliances and lots of meal prep space on the granite counters. The kitchen island faces towards the Great Room and has chair seating for 4 as well as 2 stools at the bar counter. A half bath is located on this level as well as the laundry area. The King Master Suite has a tiled shower and separate soaking tub in its master bath; this bedroom has deck access right to the pool and hot tub located at the back of the house. [Note: gas fireplace is not available for guest use.]
Just off the main living area, a short set of stairs goes up to a Game Room on the mid level landing which has a kitchenette and a Pool table. There are 2 Day Beds, each with a Trundle bed underneath, for additional sleeping arrangements. This room is above a 2-car garage which is available for guests to use. There is parking for 3-4 cars in the driveway.
TOP LEVEL:
From the mid level landing, stairs go up to the top level where 4 other bedrooms are located. The Queen Master Suite has a bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The second Queen Master Suite has a separate tiled shower and separate jetted tub for its master bath. A unique spiral staircase leads up to a tower room with a Queen bed. This room shares the hall bathroom (shower/tub combo) with another King bedroom.
EXTRAS:
The outdoor area includes a screened porch, private pool (14' x 31'), hot tub, an outside dining table, outside half bath and plenty of deck furniture to enjoy the peaceful setting. As guests within The Currituck Club, a premier-gated community and resort, your family can use its various amenities including free trolley service to the beach access and beach valet service (summer months only), a Clubhouse with on-site dining, a large community pool with kiddie pool at the main entrance, a Fitness Center, and courts for tennis, basketball, volleyball and pickleball. There are planned kids' activities offered during the summer and paths for walking and bike riding. This home has a golf membership so golfers in the family will enjoy special privileges, including advance tee times and reduced green fees, at The Currituck Club championship 18-hole golf course that is landscaped throughout the resort with sound and ocean views.

My family rented this beautiful house for a week. The beds were pretty wore out and need to be replaced. The xarpet had stains and really needed a dep

We loved our stay. Fantastic deck and outside area. Public parking to the beach is a short drive (~7 min) away. Loved staying in Corolla for proximity to Harris Teeter and other stores. The Currituck Golf community is beautiful. This particular house is tucked away, which we loved. Great view of the course.

Super easy check in and out! Beautiful house! We loved our stay. Pool was in the shade which would be fine in summer so it was just a little chilly in Sept! Would definitely recommend this property!

It was a beautiful home. WE were disappointed in the cleaning details. Some kitchen drawers were dirty. The deck furniture was dirty. Carpet stains thru out the carpeting in the house. We enjoyed our vacation. We would return to this place, but hopefully the place would be cleaner. We left it cleaner than we found it.
