There is horse riding; a golf course; chartered sea fishing; surfing and swimming in Bude, also boasting one of the few tidal sea pools in Britain. With a sea lock dividing the canal from the sea, you're but a stone's throw away from fishing, boating and canoeing all available on the canal.
Bude also offers a range of restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. Splash leisure centre with indoor pool and ten pin bowling alley and soft play for younger kids close by.
This part of the coast is very popular with water sports enthusiasts; those craving a classic Cornish seaside holiday with lovely beaches and those keen walkers, with the coastal path being just outside the back door.
