Just a few blocks from downtown Ouray, this 2-bedroom, 1.5-bath pet-friendly retreat offers the perfect mix of history, convenience, and outdoor adventure. Enjoy mornings on the deck with views of the Amphitheater, evenings grilling on the BBQ, and days exploring nearby trails, hot springs, or mountain adventures.

You'll love the summer music series in Ouray's Fellin Park! In the winter months bring your snowshoes, ice climbing gear, or Nordic skis and enjoy downhill skiing in Telluride, a scenic 60-minute drive from Ouray! Ice climbing at the world-famous Ouray Ice Park boasts more than 150 named ice and mixed climbs, spanning almost 2 miles of the Uncompahgre Gorge. After a day of adventure, enjoy a variety of great local restaurants, breweries, distilleries, live entertainment venues, and the ever-popular Ouray Hot Springs.
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

This is the cutest cottage. It's just a couple blocks from town and a block from access to the Perimeter trail. We would 100% stay there again.

A very unique property, lots of history! The view from the deck is incredible and the backyard was a fun spot for my kids to explore. Be sure whoever sleeps upstairs can conquer the steep stairs! My kids thought they were fun. The property is in a perfect location and is extremely clean and comfortable! Highly recommend

We loved our stay here, the dog bed with bowls, sheets, extra leash and doggie bags was a pleasant surprise. Made us feel that our fur baby was welcome. Loved that everything was withing walking distance and super cute property.

Positives
Close to town- easy walk
Historic property built in 1879
Dog friendly, but no place for the dog to be off leash such as a back yard
Very clean and well stocked with dishes and glassware on arrival
Negatives
Accessibility - Stairs are more of a ladder than stairs. The four of us are all in our mid to late sixties and it was a challenge to go up or down the stairs safely. If you are taller than 6’ you need to duck to avoid hitting your head on the ceiling at the back of the master bedroom. The ceilings and floors are not level and the walls are not square, but I understand the homes bones are a rustic cabin. It’s Impossible to sit on the main level toilet without hitting your legs on the vanity, or sitting at an angle.
Only one vehicle allowed to park in the driveway, and the nearby offsite parking was full of construction vehicles and trailers for off road vehicles.
I have never stayed at a VRBO where you are expected to wash your towels and dishes, and take out the trash when you leave. I expect that to be part of the cleaning fee.
NO smoking anywhere on the property, not even outside on the deck. My cousin had to walk out to the fairly busy dirt road in front of the cabin to smoke his cigar.
Odor similar to a decaying animal in main level strongest near the bathroom and bedroom, this was mentioned in several earlier reviews so it obviously has not been addressed. For what I spent for two nights stay I was very disappointed.
