Tucked along the shores of Tar Bay on Great Exuma, this secluded 2BR/2BA beach cottage offers something most Caribbean properties simply can't — a semi-private beach that will make you feel like it is all yours, with world-class snorkeling just 40 yards from your deck.
*This is not a condo or part of a resort. It's your own private piece of the Bahamas!
THE BEACH & WATER:
Crystal-clear water, soft sand, and zero crowds. Everything you need is included: 2 kayaks, a paddle board, 5 sets of snorkeling gear, beach chairs, a Yeti cooler, a waterproof Bluetooth speaker and a large JBL karaoke boombox. The snorkeling reef just off the deck is genuinely world-class.
THE BEACH COTTAGE:
The main level features an open living area with panoramic ocean views from every window, a full kitchen, and a master bedroom with smart TV & a king bed. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa and smart TV. The lower level (private entrance) has a queen and a twin bed — perfect for families or groups. Sleeps up to 6 comfortably.
Everything is refreshed and ready: new A/C units, new beds with pillow-top mattresses, new kitchen, new windows, new outdoor furniture, and a new refrigerator — all updated around 2023.
THE LOCATION:
5 minutes from Exuma International Airport (GGT). 10-12 minutes to George Town. Grocery stores, restaurants, a liquor store, and a meat market all within a few miles.
Exuma is one of the most beloved family islands in the Bahamas — safe, friendly, and jaw-droppingly beautiful year-round. It's home to the famous swimming pigs, world-class bonefishing, deep-sea fishing, sailing, and more activities than you can fit into one trip.
GETTING HERE IS EASY:
Direct daily flights on Delta (from ATL), American(Charlotte or Miami) and Bahamasair. United and Air Canada fly multiple times weekly. Ask us for flight tips — we help guests book smart.

The location is amazing. We had a private beach with the best snorkeling on the island. The host was very helpful with information about the island and very responsive. Great trip!

The beach house was beautiful, clean comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The views were incredible and being so close to the water made the experience unforgettable. The owner was wonderful to work with very kind, responsive and helpful throughout our stay. You can tell they truly care about their guest and take pride in their property. We made so many great memories here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend!

The stay was amazing, super close to everything. The property is literally a piece of heaven. Travis and Resa were easy and great to work with. The place has everything you could ever need - umbrellas, yeti coolers, jbl speakers, snorkel gear, the list goes on and on! We traveled with a one year old and they went above and beyond to make us more comfortable with her! Thanks again! We will definitely be back!

Everything was great. Theresa and Travis (your host and caretaker) always promptly responding for any help and suggestion. Wonderful spot rightly on the beach always with a breeze. What a sunrise directly in front of you and the grill for dinner worked perfectly. Plenty of everything you need for cooking at home.
