Everything was nice

A gem of a place both the villa and its location in a very quiet part of the Algarve. The villa was well equipped and there was lots of lovely outdoor space including a roof top terrace which was a sun trap. We came in the winter and the town was fairly quiet but some restaurants and cafes were open. Our hosts were very good communicating with us and had left lots of useful information at the villa

We stayed at Altura cottage for 10 weeks from October 2020. It's located in a residential area of Altura just 5 minutes from the beach and village centre, meaning that we could walk everywhere!
Although it was the 'off season' there were enough bars, cafes and restaurants open to give us plenty of choice.
The beach is fantastic and we enjoyed daily walks along the coast.
The owners were excellent. They own other properties in Altura and visit regularly. We had a couple of appliance problems and they got those sorted out very promptly along with providing local recommendations.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and hope to return!
