• Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.
ABOUT THE AREA:
Nestled at the San Juan Gateway Ouray offers year-round outdoor activities and everything you could want during your Colorado mountain vacation. In the spring, summer, and fall months visitors enjoy exploring, riding ATVs, hiking, biking, rock climbing, horseback riding excursions, and fishing.
During the winter season bring your snowshoes, ice climbing gear, Downhill/Nordic skis and enjoy a wide variety of winter activities. Ice climbing at the world-famous Ouray Ice Park boasts more than 150 ice and mixed climbs spanning almost 2 miles of the Uncompahgre Gorge. Enjoy a variety of great local restaurants, breweries, distilleries, live entertainment venues, unique shops and Ouray Hot Springs.
CANCELLATIONS:
A non-refundable deposit of $300 is required at the time of booking. The deposit is applied toward the total amount due and refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount. Cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 deposit. For reservations of thirty (30) nights or more, the cancellation policy increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

This was a perfect place to stay for our adventures in Ouray. Every evening we enjoyed the front deck (bring your favorite lounge chair) and we enjoyed the back patio for dinner. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfy and we had everything we needed. The little bag of doggie treats and dog bed were a hit with our pup! Thank you!!

The condo was perfect for our stay in Ouray. It was immaculate with a well-stocked kitchen. The host communicated quickly and clearly. Our pets were welcomed and enjoyed the stay as well! The views from the condo and the patio area were perfect!

Great place to stay in Ouray! Easy walk to the hot springs and gorgeous surroundings. No AC which is hard on a southerner but the host was great about telling us ways to cool it off (naturally we chose the week with an unusual heat wave to travel haha). I would definitely stay here again! Super fun trip.

The place had everything we needed. We loved the location and the feel of the place. We LOVED that they had a dog bed for our little pup and he was drawn to the bed. He was a happy boy! It definitely got a little hot during the day without air conditioning even with the windows all open. The temps ranged from upper 40’s at night to high 60’s during the day outside. The coldest it got inside was about 62 with the windows open at night. Inside it got to about 78 with all windows open during the day. We unfortunately were there during a time that they were sanding and staining the railing outside. It was a big pain to deal with but the host was super responsive and compassionate about what we were dealing with. We would definitely return if the temps outside were colder and no construction.
