Eastport is the easternmost city in the U.S. The downtown Historic District will take you back in time, with intriguing shops, galleries, restaurants, and brewery. From the waterfront walking trail, you can see the Canadian island of Campobello across the channel, and Roosevelt Campobello International Park.
Old Sow Whirlpool, the largest tidal whirlpool in the Western Hemisphere, sits on the international boundary between Eastport and Deer Island and often can be seen from the deck.

Did not use the hot tub....this time. Loved the state parks. Did not get to see Old Sow, maybe next time. Lovely town. Lovely property. We'll be back.

First time to visit Eastport. Lovely town, very nice house. The trip was a high school graduation gift for our daughter. She loved the house and was sad to leave. Would stay here again if we ever get to spend time in Eastport again.
