A charming rustic retreat for 4 with lake views and easy access to Porlezza!
Occupying a prominent lake view position along the Lake Lugano shore and built against a stone cliff-face, this gorgeous air-conditioned escape offers a unique and restful setting, away from modern life yet within easy walking distance of it!
The property is arranged over two floors with a country-style open-plan living area with a comfortable sitting area, TV and DVD player and a rustic open fireplace for warm, cosy evenings. Exposed stone walls and beamed ceilings provide a rustic, romantic charm. A dining area also features, and a kitchenette provides all the desired appliances for a self-catering holiday, including a cooker hob, kettle, coffee machine and toaster.
For those of you who need to keep in touch with work or family, Wi-Fi Access is also available in the property.
Outside a sunny covered terrace with a balcony, benefits from breathtaking views over Lake Lugano and the picturesque town of Porlezza. The spacious balcony provides the perfect setting to enjoy daytime sunbathing and a glass of wine in the evenings.

Bedroom 1: The 1st ensuite bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: The 2nd bedroom is furnished with a double bed.
Bathrooms
Bathrooms 1 & 2: Both bathrooms are fitted with a shower, a washbasin and a WC.
Location
From the property, the resort town of Porlezza is within easy walking distance and features a picturesque promenade with cafes, gelaterias, a variety of restaurants and a wide choice of shops and supermarkets.
The natural surroundings are beautiful and are popular year-round with hikers. The nature reserve at Lago di Piano also provides some lovely walks and a great place for cycling and fishing.
For golf lovers, the Menaggio & Cadenabbia Golf Club, one of the oldest clubs in Europe, is just a 15-minute drive away, on the Menaggio hillside by Lake Como.
The cosmopolitan delights of Lugano city can be easily reached just a 25-minute drive away, with beautiful café-lined piazzas, wonderful shopping arcades with designer shops, fresh food markets, and also providing visitors with a wide choice of entertainment, including bars, nightclubs, a stunning new casino and annual cultural and musical events.
Guests staying in the property are also able to enjoy the wide choice of facilities and activities at the family-friendly Porto Letizia holiday complex, which is situated on the sunny Porlezza lakefront and which is just a few minutes’ drive away!

This place is magical! - gorgeous veranda and charming beautiful house - stunning views - perfect location to enjoy Lugano and Como - everything you need is there - I don’t usually write reviews but this place is so unique and special I thought everyone should know.

Sorry for my delayed reply, been hectic with work since we returned from holiday! We had a really lovely week in Porlezza, we just thought the whole area was beautiful, the scenery is really out of this world and everyone we met was so lovely and welcoming. I would say the scenery and the friendliness of all the locals was the best thing about our holiday, including the amazing view from the villa.
The villa was lovely and we loved sitting out on an evening with the stunning lake view. The location was also perfect being so close to the village and restaurants etc. The living room area is really amazing and spacious, although we found the bed area a little small.
We appreciated your tips on things to do in the area and we explored quite a lot of it, particularly enjoying the boats which we rented from nautic planet a couple of times. We would have loved to go on one of the train trips but our toddler is a bit of a handful on public transport so we travelled mostly by car. We did make it to Milan for a day trip too and did a couple of hikes.
The villa was easy to find with the detailed directions and the team were very helpful when we asked for a high chair and a new cotbed.
My iphoto is playing up at the moment so I can't attach any photos but will send some on in due course as we took lots of pictures of the amazing view from the living area. Thank you again for all the information you sent through.
