Welcome to our charming ranch house, located in the picturesque coastal town of Scituate, Massachusetts. This home, lovingly built in the 1960s by my father, offers a peaceful retreat with modern updates and a personal touch. Whether you're planning a quiet getaway or an adventure-packed vacation, this property serves as the perfect base to explore all that Scituate has to offer.
A Prime Location
Nestled across the street from a scenic cranberry bog, you'll enjoy stunning sunsets and serene walking paths right at your doorstep. For beach lovers, Scituate boasts five beautiful beaches, all within a 3-5 mile drive:
Peggotty Beach (closest)
Minot Beach
Sand Hills Beach
Egypt Beach
Humarock Beach (farthest)
To park at the beaches, you’ll need a weekly parking sticker, available at the Town Hall for approximately $50. Just bring your rental agreement and car registration. For early birds, limited free parking is available at the back of Peggotty Beach. Alternatively, you can park at St. Mary’s Church or near the lighthouse for a scenic walk to the shore.

Very nice space, would be good for larger groups. Comfortable bed. Pet friendly but note yard is not fenced and front is along a fairly busy street; a tie out is provided. Clean and situated fairly close to everything.

Plenty good about this house and lots of potential. Master bedroom spacious and bed comfortable. Bathrooms are fine. A lot could stand a good cleaning or replacement. Some of the rugs need replaced. Couch could use a good cleaning. Kitchen needs a clean out. Refrigerator doors filled with yucky used condiments that no one would want to use. Too much junky stuff makes it feel unkept. Deck was unusable when we got there but owner very responsive and fixed the problem quickly. Yard needs a clean up too. All in all once we settled in the house it worked for our situation and we enjoyed the stay. Would stay again.

Absolutely loved Elaine's home. Plenty of space for our family. Some reviews mention "dated" but as someone who grew up in the area, the house is perfectly "dated". It reminds me of the houses I grew up in. House was clean and well stocked. We will be sure to stay here again on our next visit.

3 spacious bedrooms. 2 full baths. Kitchen seats 8 (with 2 at island). It's really helpful that the side deck has gates so you can have a dog sitting outside and not worry. Owner also has dog leads by the front door. Beds comfortable. Plenty of dishes, glasses and silverware. Large fridge. Living room has plenty of room for 8 people. Very nice there are children books and some toys. We'd definetely return.
