• Three impressive decks, all overlooking phenomenal views: open-air main floor deck with outdoor dining and gas fire table, middle deck gas fire table, and lower deck with hot tub and swings
• Family-friendly amenities include a baby gate, booster seat, and Pack 'N Play

The kitchen is extremely well equipped. I often feel like I should always travel with one decent knife and pan, but this kitchen was extensively stocked with any cooking item you might need (besides the food). The bedrooms were all lovely. The views are the star of the show. Great location. Great communications from the host.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home in Black Mountain! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by how gorgeous the space was—every room felt warm, inviting, and impeccably designed. The owners truly thought of everything. Every detail, from the well-stocked kitchen to the cozy blankets, games, and thoughtful extras, made our stay feel effortless and luxurious.The home was spotless, spacious, and perfectly set up for both relaxing and spending time together as a family. We especially appreciated how peaceful the surroundings were; it was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the mountain scenery.We’ve stayed in many rentals over the years, but this one stands out as one of our all-time favorites. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, beauty, and true hospitality, this is it. We would come back in a heartbeat!

The High Lake Lodge was the PERFECT stay for my family. The drive is a little tricky, but the roads are all paved and we were able to get there easily with a front wheel drive vehicle. Once you are there, there is not much else you need! The home was fully stocked with things you may need that you did't think of! The views are unbelievable. The home was clean, organized and well designed. We will be coming back here again!

This may have been one of the best rentals we have ever stayed at. The kitchen is phenomenal and incredibly well stocked. There was more inside the house than was listed on the VRBO rental. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, bathrooms, exquisite. The view from the deck is Amazing rain or shine.
