Perfectly situated right in the centre of Bowness on Windermere. Local attractions, shops, restaurants and bars all within a few minutes walk away.. 12 steps to entrance.
All on the Ground Floor:
Living/dining room: Freeview Smart TV
Kitchen: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge
Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bedroom 2: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Attachment, Toilet. Electric heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair.. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. The apartment would suit a family of four or two couples looking to explore the area. A modern 1st floor apartment perfectly placed to enjoy all that Bownesss-on-Windermere has to offer, including some of the Lake District’s finest attractions.
Take a cruise on Lake Windermere to Ambleside or across to Lakeside to enjoy a day at The Aquarium or hop on the steam train to Haverthwaite. Alternatively, try your hand at sailing and hire your own boat for a few hours. Paddle boarding is also a popular activity on the lake, so if you have one, then it’s certainly worth bringing it along. Bowness-on-Windermere is also home to Beatrix Potter World and the wonderful Art Deco Royalty Cinema. If you’re feeling energetic, so many walks can be found nearby including ’Orrest Head’ in Windermere, a relatively short walk offering spectacular views over Lake Windermere.
Some of the Lake District’s fantastic fells are a mere short drive away, as well as the small ’Alpine’ like village of Grasmere, where William Wordsworth is laid to rest at St. Oswald’s Church, and if you’re a fan of Gingerbread, a visit to Grasmere Gingerbread shop is a must!

My visit to Windermere was amazing thanks to my accommodation I've already recommended the melody apartment to my family and friends and carnt wait to visit there again thank you for my seven day break it was absolutely perfect and I would highly recommend to anyone who's planning on going to the lakes to go on cottages.com and search for melody accommodation.again thank you

It was a great experience staying here last week. Very close to all local shops and restaurants, also very close to the lake. Has private parking. Would love to go back.

Good free parking, excellent location, very close to all attractions. We were able to cook a roast, so kitchen had all that was needed. On the down side, rad in main bedroom didn’t work, no rad in second bedroom (I like a cold bedroom) rad in the living room barely worked. Light in second bedroom didn’t work. The main issue, which would stop me booking it again is that there was only comfortable seating for 3 people, and the apartment is for four people! So after out walking all day, and 2 of our group had just run the OMM (originally mountain marathon) one of us had to sit on either the foot stool, or dining chair there is space for another comfortable chair with a bit of rearranging. So overall good
