Go to the beach and feel the soft sand between your toes. Before you return to the apartment, your kids will definitely want an ice cream at Georgie Ijsjes.

In Oostende you will find a lot of culture. The Mercator, a 3-masted ship from the 1930s worth seeing, is moored in the marina. The church of St. Peter and St. Paul in neo-Gothic style and Fort Napoleon, a 5-sided fortification built in 1811, are also great highlights.
