Once Upon a Tide welcomes you to the barrier island of Navarre Beach. This island of sugar white sand sits in the waters between the Gulf of Mexico and Santa Rosa Sound. Once Upon a Tide boasts incredible views of both. Walk out our front door, and you’re a minute from the Sound. Walk out the back, and you’re a minute from the Gulf. Waterfront views surround our home, and sunsets and sunrises over the beaches and waters are spectacular.
Step into the luxury and comfort of our large, open two bedroom, two-bath home. Each of the two elegantly-decorated, spacious master bedrooms have king-sized beds and walk-in closets. The fireplace bedroom opens onto the Gulfside deck, and has an ensuite bath with double sinks and a large shower and drying area. The Soundside bath with entry directly from the Soundside bedroom has black granite counters and a shower/tub.
Have you had a great day sunning at the beach? Skip the inside showers and try the experience of rinsing off in our outside shower!
A queen murphy bed and a queen sleeper sofa round out the sleeping arrangements with wonderfully comfortable and fun sleeping space for up to eight guests.
This beautifully decorated arts and crafts cottage is a blend of classic and modern. The great room features games, a library and a smart flat-screen television with Netflix and Hulu where you can enjoy endless entertainment and fall in love with the at-home feel of this beautiful vacation home. The fully-equipped kitchen opens into the capacious dining area and great room. Once Upon A Tide has a huge deck off the master bedroom, kitchen and great room with gorgeous beach-gulf views and a picnic table. Great for morning coffee.
This covered deck wraps around from the sunrise side to the sunset side which has Adirondack chairs for reading and for enjoying the beautiful views of the Sound. When you’re tired of the Sound view, turn around in your chair and enjoy the Gulf view. Or grab a bag and take the kids shelling, or swimming or wading along the shallows of the endless beaches of sand, the most sought-after, crystal-clear waters of the Gulf Coast. There are many bike trails along the property and throughout the area to appease your adventurous side, including paths through the National Seashore, nine miles of undeveloped beaches and dunes along the Gulf.
Get away from it all. Relax. Unwind at the ocean. Fish the Emerald Coast. Walk the beach to the Navarre Beach Pier, the longest pier in the Gulf of Mexico, or walk to the Navarre Beach Marine Park. NOTE: The rental is only the center floor of the house. The garage and top floor are blocked off by the owners. Owners are present from October till Mid June, but do visit throughout the year.

In the event of loss of power and/or internet, or any other "out of our control" event due to storms we will not grant refunds. Florida weather in the summer can be unpredictable. We recommend travel insurance during these months.

We stayed for a week for the little league World Series and we had some stuff we couldn’t figure out and the property manager was very fast at a response and very nice and understanding! They got stuff fixed right away!

The inside of the home was very clean! A spacious home. We had 3 small children and 4 adults and it was more than roomy for us all. A tad outdated furniture and bedding. Still worked fine. The walk in shower in the master bedroom was so nice to have! You could walk to the beach if you wanted. Around a 5 minute walk. Or you can drive just around the corner and they have a small parking lot. It worked perfect for us. It’s in an area where the beach always had a open spot within reasonable walking distance. Was not crowded at all! The wrap around deck was wonderful! You couldn’t see the beach the way we was hoping because of other houses, but still an ok view! The only reason for one star being taken off was that the drain to the small bathroom was clogged. You had to stand in dirty water, but my father was easily able to get the impacted hair out of the drain so he could continue to shower. The outside of the house needed some work. It was a tad messy and needed some TLC. Also, with small children the railings around the wrap around porch had some very cautious areas that did not seem to be 100% sturdy. There was also a pile of pallets on the deck. The outside shower was not working. That was a huge bummer to us as we all made sure to pick a home that had one, but there was a gardening hose around the side of the house that we used instead. All in all we had a great experience! Beautiful home and location! Just wish we knew of the few issues before hand for a better comparison

This was a beautiful place to stay. It wasnt quite as close to the beach as we were expecting so the views were a little different than what we had pictured but they were still great! The property owner was great to answer any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this home. It was quiet and relaxing there. The home is spacious and well taken care of.

Nice place, it was spacious…..would not stay again due to the noise from upstairs. I’m assuming there were children up stairs, it was pretty loud. Much louder than at a condo when you have people above you. There also aren’t any curtains or blinds to cover the two big glass doors at the back of the house and you can see right in. No privacy there. If these two things wouldn’t bother you, then it’s not a bad place to stay.
