A perfect base for exploring Central Otago. Old Cromwell Heritage precinct is a must see with its quaint shops and cafes. The areas wineries are world reknowned and you could also take a tour of a local orchard. There are many biking and walking trails and if you enjoy water sports then Lake Dunstan couldnt be closer! Highlands Motorsport Park is a great place for Motorsport enthusiasts but is also a fun place for the whole family. Further afield you are only 40 minutes to Wanaka and Queenstown and the Maniototo.

Lovely wee comfy cottage in the old town, easy walk to the markets and cafes, Jo was a lovely friendly host and communications were very easy, I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Really cute historic cottage super close to the historic precinct of Cromwell. This was a fantastic location for us as cyclists as the bike trail was just metres away. The extra touches Jo put into the cottage (the history, the information brochures, the extra kitchen supplies) were all appreciated.
