Looking for an amazing place to relax and enjoy total privacy right next to JT National Park? Look no further! "Desert Sun" is a villa with breathtaking views from every angle—from the mountains behind the house to the desert in front, and from Joshua Tree town to the left and Twenty Nine Palms to the right. Designed for ultimate relaxation, this villa features a huge hot tub, a game room, two outdoor fireplaces, a BBQ, and a beautiful garden. Perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring JT.
The space
Highlights:

• Relaxation: A huge hot tub that accommodates up to 6 people and an outdoor shower for hot days.
• Night Sky Viewing: Isolated property ideal for star gazing with amazing sunrise and sunset views.

• Bedrooms: 4 bedrooms with one king bed and three queen beds. The garage features two single beds (one bed pulls out from under another).

• No Parties: Violators will be asked to leave without a refund and may incur fines.

The property is right off 29 Palm Highway, so it is very convenient to go around
- Dirt road leading to the house, but your car should have no problem navigating
- Parkings are all around the house
Other things to note
- We are not refilling the gas BBQ grill, l so you would have to bring the empty tank to Home Depot or Walmart to exchange due to our housekeeper no longer doing this.
The cleaning company charges us $35 per pet per night. Please contact the host if you have pets.
- The 5th bedroom is a garage conversion. It has two twin sofa beds and a split AC.
- The sofa bed in the garage is a top bed and a pull-out bed at the bottom. Each of them is a twin bed.
- Please note that we do not provide firewood to use for the two outdoor fire-pits, you would have to bring your own.
- We need your help to put the trash into the dumpster and not the enclosure. Animal comes and scatters all the tra, sh and we get fine from the city. When you check out, please take a picture no trash was left on the premises, and we will return the deposit.
- Indoor fireplace is not available for use.
-Please note that we only do spa cleaning service once a week. If you would love to use the spa, please inform us before your arrival and confirm at least 24 hours before check-in. Your share fee will be $20 (spa cleaning service is $50, we pay $30, and guests will pay $20,) and we will make sure that the spa is cleaned for you to use.
-Please put the cover of the hot tub/jacuzzi after use.

Ella's place was a wonderful, secluded stay in the desert! It felt a little smaller than we were expecting, but overall excellent. Ella was a very communicative and supportive host. We'll definitely book again!

Overall, the house is beautiful, and the location is great—quiet, with an outstanding view of the stars at night. The mattresses were the best I’ve experienced compared to all my stays at hotels and vacation rentals. The only complaint I have is the unfinished closet in the master bedroom.

The layout of the home is perfect for a large family and the backyard has everything needed for great family bonding. The game room was an added plus even though we didn't use it because we enjoyed spending time together in the large front room. One comment I would make is that it would be nice to have additional towels, having a can for recyclables, clean pans and cookie sheets and more coffee mugs. But the place was a wonderful haven, we truly enjoyed our visit! Thank you!

Could be much cleaner. Missing lots of basic items (kitchen towels, broken coffee pot, no kitchen sponge, no toaster, missing baking pans). For what you charge was not happy.
