A-Frame J is a distinctive three-bedroom, one-bath retreat that combines classic rustic charm with the relaxed atmosphere of a Lake Michigan vacation. With its unique A-frame architecture, open-concept design, and wonderful screened-in porch, this inviting cottage offers a memorable setting for families and friends to gather, unwind, and enjoy everything Sleepy Hollow Beach Resort has to offer.
The open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area creates a comfortable central gathering space, with the soaring lines of the A-frame adding character and a wonderful sense of openness. A queen-size sleeper sofa in the living area provides additional sleeping accommodations while maintaining plenty of space for everyone to relax after a day at the beach or pool.
Accommodating up to eight guests, the primary bedroom features a king-size bed, while the second and third bedrooms each offer two twin beds. With its flexible sleeping arrangements and family-friendly layout, this charming retreat is especially well suited for families or groups looking to spend their vacation together.
One of the most appealing features is the spacious screened-in porch, which extends the living space outdoors while providing a comfortable place to enjoy the peaceful resort surroundings. Start the morning with coffee on the porch, spend a quiet afternoon reading or relaxing, or gather together in the evening after another beautiful day along Lake Michigan.
Mini-split wall-unit air conditioning provides added comfort during the warmer summer months. Please note that this unit does not have a washer or dryer, adding to its traditional cottage character and relaxed, uncomplicated vacation feel.
Guests also enjoy access to Sleepy Hollow Beach Resort’s exceptional amenities, including 1,000 feet of private Lake Michigan beach, a heated Olympic-size swimming pool, tennis and pickleball courts, and beautifully maintained grounds. From days spent along the private beach and afternoons by the pool to evenings enjoying spectacular Lake Michigan sunsets, this one-of-a-kind A-frame provides a charming and comfortable home base for a truly memorable Sleepy Hollow vacation.

A frame could use some updates. Electrical was sketchy, and twin bed matresses were not so comfortable. Location was great for the price of rental. We wereonly rental in complex on our last evening, made for a really quiet stay, plus we had the option of using front porch of adjoining rental which had an even better view of lake Michigan than our rental. There is a locked gate to enter property with a code pad. Our email instructions didn't come unti an hour before check-in, pulling up to gate I had no idea how to get into the property. Called property manager, and had to leave a message. While waiting for return call, I checked emails for instructions on on entering, and found them It was a bit concerning, but we did get in after about a 15 minute wait. While unloading, property manager showed up and apologized for the inconvenience. Overall it was a great stay, grounds were beautifully maintained, and you couldnt beat the location. Would definitely rent a different unit should we return.

Reviewer Comments:
A-frame J is an older unit in Sleepy Hollow resort. But it does have a wonderful view of Lake Michigan. I loved hearing the waves at night. A great way to fall asleep. The beach is narrow due to the storms which came through. All in all though, a great way to spend Labor Day.
