Cabin located in the heart of the Shawnee National Forest. Only 2.5 miles from hiking in Giant City Stat Park, 5 minutes to the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail, minutes from SIU, and Cedar Lake. This is the perfect base for hiking, visiting wineries, and enjoying other activities in beautiful Southern IL.

You will not find a clehaner more beautiful place to stay. This property is located near Makanda and near the wine trails in Southern Illinois. Our only issue was that the description listed DirectTV and there was none- however, we were not there to watch TV. The owner explained that he forgot to take that off of the listing.

The place was really clean and fit our family perfectly. We just wish there was an electric skillet to cook some eggs or something warm, otherwise we have no complaints! Thank you!

Cabin is very clean, and couches very comfy. Bathroom very roomy as well with LOTS of towels.One mattress was great, the other a little soft.
