This cottage has a bedroom with a queen bed, a loft with a king bed, a living room, kitchen and small bathroom. There is ample natural light offering views of the meadows and mountains. The back porch has seating and is adjacent to a fire pit. The property has hundreds of acres to explore and a pond just out the back door. Skiers will enjoy the short drive to Mad River Glen, Sugarbush and Bolton. This rental is in the COUNTRY which means you will encounter nature; including, views of the stars, fresh air, delicious mountain water, roaming deer and the occasional ladybug.

The host did a great job of taking care of us, even towed us when we got stuck in the driveway. (BTW if you only have front wheel drive and you're arriving in winter, park at the TOP of the hill, not the bottom). The views are gorgeous and the place is clean. The loft bedroom has pretty low ceilings and a steep ladder to access, so if you're planning to use that area that could be a mobility challenge.

There were several wasps. Question if it was clean bedding each time...there were noises in the night, against the building.
