Remote retreat: clean and cozy; tiny cabin perfect for a small group wanting some time away from the hustle and bustle of life. Peaceful, lovely wraparound porch, updated tiny kitchen, updated single bathroom (shower only) inside master bedroom. Wonderfully kind and helpful host; great communication and support.

We had a great time relaxing, playing games and hanging out in the hottub. The dogs loved the woods for they don't get to see much of that at home. The location was good hiking and even going to the casino. Definitely recommend. I wish there had been a second bathroom though, and not having to go through a bedroom to get to the bathroom.

We loved our stay at the Sweet Retreat. Everything we needed for our stay was available: pots, pans, spices, even the wood for the fire pit. The cabin includes a perfectly-sized dishwasher to help clean-up after eating a meal cooked on the gas grill located on the deck just outside the back door. We particularly liked the electric fireplace, which I used in the morning to warm up the cabin while my wife slept late, and the hot tub, also located right outside the back door on the deck. While remote enough for complete R&R, the Retreat was near enough to groceries, nail salon, and restaurant. We were especially impressed with Cotton's BBQ. It was by far the best we've ever had.All in all, the Retreat was worth the expense, and we wouldn't hesitate to visit again in the future.
