Eco-Lagarto is a remote, nature-oriented community.

That is part of its charm, but it also means this is not the same experience as staying in a busy beach town or large resort.

There are restaurants and services in the surrounding area, but they are not necessarily within walking distance.

We recommend arriving with groceries, drinking water, personal necessities, and plenty of fuel for your vehicle.

During the rainy season, road conditions can change. A higher-clearance vehicle or SUV is recommended, particularly for guests visiting during periods of heavy rain.

If you're looking for peace, privacy, nature, and an opportunity to experience a less commercial side of Costa Rica, you'll likely love the location.

If you're looking for a resort directly on a busy beach with shops and restaurants outside your front door, this may not be the right property for you.
