SPACES AND AMENITIES
Located on the first floor of a small residential complex in Fonteno, the apartment, named Le Terrazze, covers 48 m² and consists of a living room with an open kitchen, two bedrooms, and a bathroom. Outside is a large private terrace of 35 m², which nearly doubles the living space and, in the warmer months, becomes a fantastic extension of the living area, thanks to a beautiful retractable awning, an outdoor table with chairs, and lounge chairs. The view from here is simply spectacular.
The living room—which is flooded with light from a large French door that leads directly to the terrace—features a dining table, a sofa in the living area, and a fully equipped wall-mounted kitchen, complete with a gas stove, electric oven, a microwave, and a full set of kitchen appliances (kettle, toaster, blenders, pod coffee makers, milk frother).
There are two bedrooms: one has a double bed and is also lit by a French door opening onto the terrace; the other, smaller one, has a bunk bed.
The bathroom, featuring a large sink, toilet, bidet, shower stall, and washing machine, completes the apartment.
The apartment is equipped with heating and Wi-Fi. Free street parking is available.
SWIMMING POOL
The building’s swimming pool is open from May 15 to September 15, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Available exclusively to residents of the complex, it requires the wearing of swim caps, as well as adherence to the hygiene and conduct rules listed in the regulations.
THE AREA
Fonteno, located about 620 meters above sea level, is the highest settlement on what the residents of Lake Iseo call “the Hill”: a place made famous by its spectacular view of the lake and the 365 farmhouses scattered throughout the area, each offering a destination for walks along well-marked trails and mule tracks.
Of course, in addition to enjoying the attractions offered by the lake—which is just over ten minutes away by car—there is a remarkable range of possible activities here, foremost among which are hiking and cycling, whether on road bikes or mountain bikes. The area is home to several 16th-century churches. For speleologists, Fonteno is also known for the karst cave known as the Abisso Bueno Fonteno, which descends 500 meters and extends for a full 19 km, ranking among the top 20 caves in Italy by length.
