We had a fantastic stay! The house was thoroughly cleaned and had views of the water. It’s in a prime location with a very short, easy walk to the beach. The host was wonderful—always responsive and ensuring we had everything we need. We would gladly stay here again! Highly recommend!

The house and location were phenomenal! However, be advised as guest/renters we were not allowed to use the neighborhood swimming pool or grill explained to me as a HOA policy by the homeowner. This is not a dealbreaker but was disappointing when we found this out. Our friends rented a house on the same block through Beachtown Rentals and they were able to enjoy both the pool and grill! Two fun summer vacation activities with kids!

This was a return trip to the property, and it did not disappoint. Just what we needed after my wife finished a two day conference in Houston. The host was incredibly responsive, with the property and surrounding area as beautiful as we remembered them to be. Highly recommend, for the serenity of the location, its easy access to long shoreline walks, and proximity to all of what Galveston has to offer, including a new favorite eatery, Mario's Seawall Italian Restaurant, where my wife fell in love with their Chicken Picatta, and I finally broke down and used DoorDash...twice !

House is not in a gated community and the beach is definitely not private. Random people park along road in front of house and drag wagons along tight walkways. The bistro is only decent at night, so have to drive into town for everything. We felt like un-welcomed guests, and had to ask permission to use the garage doors. Misters on patio were sadly off-limits. Camera looking in front door. Nice house but not a relaxing experience.. and a large roach greeted us in one bathroom.
