Robin Lodge is a lovely lakeside holiday home set in a 550 acre beautiful nature reserve. It has excellent onsite facilities & activities, with luxury spa access, swimming pools, watersports, fishing, bike hire, tennis, fishing, restaurant, bar & pizza shack.
Sleeping up to 8 in 4 bedrooms & 4 bathrooms. 2x double ensuite (one with private balcony), 1x double or twin ensuite, 1 x twin bedroom. The large open plan living area with log burning stove leads to sun deck area, outside seating & BBQ.

• Excellent Water Sports - Paddle boarding, kayak, canoe & rowing boats
• Somerford Lagoon can only be used for non-powered water sports between the 1st of April and the 30th of September
• In order to minimise disturbance to overwintering wildfowl, the footpaths to the Southern and Eastern edge of Somerford Lagoon are not accessible from the 1st of October to the 31st of March
• Spinney Lake is available for non-powered water sports all year.

Great property - plenty of space, clean, overlooking a lake.
Fantastic communication from the hosts...we had a small issue with water - they were on it straight away.
Only small gripe was about the estate facilities... restaurant and bar closed in Sunday afternoon at 4:00pm (I think). The portal for booking water sports was not particularly user friendly...we only wanted to book 2 hours but the portal indicated the only option for 2 hours was to start at 2pm - it turned out from staff that we could have gone down at any time for our 2 hours - a bit of work needed there.
Would also recommend EV drivers download the Roam app before trying to charge...there is no signal or WiFi pickup at the charge points.
Didn't spoil our stay though...just something for travellers to be aware of.

We had previously stayed in the house next door, plus twice more in a different house. So we’re obviously fans of the estate and facilities. 47 was perfect for us, 4 Adults and 2 x 6 year olds. Plenty of space, especially important to have enough bathrooms, as we were two families sharing. Lots of kitchen equipment, big table, comfy sofa. Lots of fun things including the pumpkin trail, swimming, soft play, playground for the kids. Highly recommend, we will definitely return again

The house was welcoming, comfortable and well stocked. Everyone felt immediately at home and the team at Orion Holidays were on hand to answer any questions.
Swimming pool etc was not as much a hassle as I had feared but only hour sessions available per day. Other facilities great like tennis, playground, etc.
Loved our stay and would return again gladly.
Was just a teeny weeny bit jealous of the houses near us that were actually on a lake but kind of new that going into it.

All in fairly reasonable condition apart from the wood surround bed . Kept banging shins as not a lot of room to move around it. Would suggest baths - apart from in the family bathroom - be replaced with walk in showers.
