DOG OWNERS BEWARE! Although the Expedia listing states that there is a 'deposit' for dogs, the owners informed us after check-in of an exhorbitant fee. Check-in was very unusual. Although I made it very clear that we wanted a pet friendly property and there was no where to add a pet fee on Expedia, shortly after arrival I received a text from the owners stating that I had brought 2 dogs and hadn't paid the pet fee. This was very unusual (surveillance cameras???) and actually a bit unsettling, especially given our current political climate. With the extra charge for our dogs and with an already in place fee for cleaning, I would not have expected mold/mildew in the shower, grime and dirt in the corners and on the washing machine and baseboards, food splattered around the garbage can well and perhaps grossest of all, the backup of filthy water when using the garbage disposal. The living space itself was nice, the porch was an added plus for dogs and the kitchen was well apportioned. Most restaurants were a 10-15 minute drive away, not much in walking distance.
