Welcome to Acre Ridge Cabin, a beautifully crafted log cabin tucked among 7 private wooded acres in the hills of Brown County, Indiana. Surrounded by forest and peaceful countryside, this inviting retreat offers the perfect place to slow down, reconnect with nature, and enjoy the charm of southern Indiana while still being close to Nashville and Brown County State Park.
The journey to the cabin begins with a scenic drive down a long forested driveway, setting the tone for the quiet, secluded setting that awaits. As you arrive, the gentle sound of a bubbling fountain greets you at the top of the stairs leading down to the cabin. A spacious front porch with ceiling fans and a welcoming porch swing invites guests to sit back and take in the surrounding woods before even stepping inside.
Inside, the cabin opens to a two-story great room featuring soaring ceilings and a beautiful stone fireplace with a wood mantel crafted from reclaimed local barn wood. The living area is comfortably furnished with leather seating and a large TV, creating a perfect place to relax after a day exploring Brown County. High-speed Wi-Fi allows guests to stream their favorite shows and stay connected during their stay.

What a wonderful experience we had at the Acre Ridge Cabin! It was a last minute spring break trip and it worked out perfectly. The kitchen had everything we needed - 2 ovens!! The utensils were great shape (which is not always the case). We loved the layout of the cabin, and the absolute favorite part was the atrium. I got up at 1:00am to lie out there and listen to the rain and thunder, and watch the lightening. Definitely suggest Acre Ridge Cabin!

The cabin was beautiful, clean, quiet, and well appointed. We loved the atrium and made plenty of use of the fireplace. We will definitely be coming back!

The property location is ideal for a restful getaway. Interior surfaces were clean and neat. However, there are many items that need attention. Access to the main stairs into the cabin is treacherous due to uneven, drooping brickwork, making it dangerous for elderly persons. The umbrella shade on the rear deck is broken and, when opened, a bird's nest fell out. The s'mores items in the welcome basket were quite old and when opened were oxidized. Batteries in the Operation game were rotten and leaking acid. The pet exercise area was overgrown with tall weeds, and the gates were off their hinges. A great deal of moss was located on the north side of the main upper deck along the sunroom exterior. The master bath shower has a caddy that causes the spray to go horizontally, necessitating that the shower be handheld. This is a burden on people in their 80s and would be a frustration for anyone else. Finally, the cooking equipment has been abused and is no longer serviceable. Even on low heat, everything stuck to the pans.This could truly be a superior property with only a bit of effort.
