Fantastic penthouse ocean views from this studio condo in Kahana. Royal Kahana #1202 is decorated in a tropical theme, it makes a relaxing vacation for a couple or family of three. Both the kitchen and bathroom (no tub) have been remodeled with new appliances and fixtures including a washer/dryer. Enjoy the ocean front pool area or take a long stroll along the frontage road. The resort is in walking distance to small beach park (Pohaku Park) to watch sea turtles and surfers, restaurants, farmers market and shops, centrally located on the west side of Maui. We offer free Wi-Fi in our condo.

Rating Details:
The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was very clean.
I was very happy with the location.
I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.

The room was nice, the views from the lanai were great. The first day everything was fine, but on the second day I put some laundry in the dryer,and the lint trap shot the filter out. We called and they sent an electrician out. He fixed it, but a couple days later I put laundry in and it blew the circuit breaker again. We didn’t have power again. My husband thought it could be something major, so we went without power for the rest of our stay.

It was a great vacation in an amazing condo! We were there a week and we really enjoyed the condo, pool and outdoor grill. We cooked pool side several nights in our stay. It is a far walk from the parking however, there were carts that were available when we needed to carry a lot of things. I am looking forward to staying here again in the future.

The view off the balcony is by far the best part of the unit. It is a studio, so not very large, the pictures make it look a little bigger but it was perfect for my girlfriend and I. Washer and dryer were great, bathroom is nice and kitchen has what we needed - coffeemaker, toaster, blender and some supplies although we did not cook any meals. There is NO beach due to erosion and the pool cabana is under construction (which we never used, as of 4.14.18) the parking spots are extremely small and difficult finding a spot after 10pm just FYI. Overall we had a great time, world class beaches all around. Maui brewing right across the street. Incredible views and you can hear the water from the balcony.

Not happy about no A/C. Had to leave doors and windows open for breeze then listened to obnoxious motorists with loud vehicles roar by below. Unit was smaller than expected. No remote control for the TV. No beach!!!!
