This was our first time using Vrbo. We enjoyed our stay! Perfect sized little house for our family of 5 with three kids. Nice quiet area. (There is construction right next to the house but it wasn’t too bothersome.) We took a roadtrip from our state to see the redwoods. It was a good location to go north or south to visit the locations we wanted to see- Trees of Mystery and the Grove of the Titans up north. Locally the Sequoia Park Zoo and a beach. Southward there was Confusion Hill, driving the Avenue of the Redwoods (GORGEOUS DRIVE), drive through tree, and roadside gift shops! The beds were extremely comfortable. There were plenty of household amenities. One thing to add was a big serving bowl. The only negative thing upon arrival was that the house was smelly. It has an old house musty scent. It was off putting initially but my nose got use to it. Some people in our party did not get use to it. The spiders in the overhang parking and some in and around the house were a bit off putting but maybe can’t be helped. The WiFi was down when we arrived but we troubleshooted it ourselves and got it running. The internet is very slow. I would recommend upgrading it. When messaging the owners they responded in a timely manner. Overall I would stay here again for the location and price.

My family has stayed at this property multiple times and we really appreciate the location and the value for the money. It's a beautiful little place that is well kept and has all of the basics. I plan to keep coming back as often as we're in Arcata.

The house was very comfortable and beautifully decorated with lovely pottery pieces and fixtures. Beds were supper comfortable and kitchen well stocked. Location was very convenient to downtown Arcata and the Humboldt campus.

Clean house, pictures match the size and style of the home. We had issues with wifi and the kitchen is poorly stocked for cooking at home. Mattresses could be upgraded, especially the 2 twin beds.
