Schooners Edge is a breathtaking 4400sq ft home right on the water providing a peaceful relaxing vacation on the large deck while being 1 minute from the park entrance.
The home is very spacious and the open layout in the main room is great for everyone to spend time together. The large deck and small private beachfront is great for relaxing outdoors!

This property has been significantly updated from the photos that were posted! We did have a few issues with the hot water, which possibly was due to the renovations.

We absolutely loved our stay here and would recommend to anyone. There’s plenty of space, the kitchen is stocked, and you can’t beat the view. The location is great for hiking in Acadia and a short drive to bar harbor. The house feels secluded. My kids loved jumping on the rocks by the ocean. We had a wonderful time!

As others have said, decor is vintage but the house is expansive, comfortable and has everything one could want. The location just made our trip so very special. We loved sitting on the rocks and watching the tiny life in the tide pools and the seals. Such a special place.

We had the best time! The renovations to the home added a great modern touch to the best mid century modern feel of the rest of the house. We were able to walk directly to the trailhead of Beehive, sand beach, thunder hole, and so many other spots along the coast of Acadia. The views were incredible, the stars were insane at night, and everything was just as perfect as we imagined it would be. We even had 3 different cab drivers ask us for the listing because they were so impressed by the house and the location! We will be coming back and renting again!!
