Casa da Eira—located in Oliveira (São Pedro), in the municipality of Braga—is ready to welcome you, your family, and your friends with a huge smile and great dedication from our family. One of our main priorities is to provide our guests with as much privacy as possible so they feel right at home. Here, we believe that communication is always a key step toward our guests’ success and well-being!
A private rural home featuring two bright, air-conditioned double bedrooms, two spacious bathrooms, a cozy living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a small laundry room/pantry. During your stay, only guests have access to the outdoor granite pool, the soccer field, and the other green spaces. For nature and countryside lovers, there’s the chance to interact with the farm animals and enjoy the authentic flavors of our vegetable garden and orchard. Casa da Eira, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Minho region, is located in a very peaceful and inspiring setting. Downtown Braga is 10 km away (a 10–15-minute drive). In less than 30 minutes, you can reach other major cities such as Guimarães, Barcelos, and Póvoa de Varzim (beach). In 30–40 minutes, you’ll be at the Peneda-Gerês National Park, in the heart of Porto, or at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport.
CASA DA EIRA is located on the same property as our family home. As such, one of our policies is to provide our guests with as much privacy as possible so they always feel at ease and comfortable.
The POOL is located in front of our family home (as you can see in the photos in the listing). To ensure our guests’ privacy, all the windows in our home remain closed during the day. This way, everyone can feel more at ease and uninhibited :)
Pool: 16 m long x 4 m wide x depth (shallow end—0.80 m +/-; deep end—2.5 m +/-)

The home is in a beautiful, peaceful location. There are many fruit trees, a pond, a swimming pool, and cute farm animals including baby sheep. Our family enjoyed the home and grounds very much. Francisca was a hospitable and gracious host. She gave us a tour of the grounds upon our arrival and provided provisions for breakfast, including eggs fresh from her chickens. We would return again to this home and recommend it to anyone looking for wonderful scenery. Our kids loved it, too!
