PARK ACCESS: Master Association Lakeside Park, located along Marsh Hill Rd.
LAKE ACCESS: Located along Route 219 at Trader's Landing docks. Docks are located across the street from Subway/Trader's Coffee House/ High Mountain Sports. Please note that docks are only guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
STATE PARK ACCESS: This home provides 2 seasonal state park passes with reservations booked to arrive during the summer weeks (mid-June - Labor Day). Each pass allows 1 car-load of people to access the lake access area at Deep Creek Lake State Park at no additional fee, plus nearby state parks including Swallow Falls State Park, Herrington Manor State Park, and New Germany State Park. Instructions for obtaining these passes can be found in your check-in instructions prior to your arrival.

NOTE: A copy of the contract holder's Photo ID, a signed contract, and a list of your full travel party (names/ages of all attending) will be required to complete your booking. If booking last minute, you may be required to stop by our main office to show your photo ID and the credit card used on the reservation. We had a great weekend at the Highland Manor house. Perfect for the 14 of us that came from various parts of PA, OH and VA. House was spacious and well set up for our group. The only issue I experienced was that the door of the bedroom we stayed in was off its hinge and handle was off the door. A maintenance person came and fixed the hinge, but did not fix the handle. Also, the door would not latch. Otherwise, we had a good stay and would consider this property in the future.

The place was nice. Not exactly very clean but acceptable for the most part. (examples: the deck floor was cover with food under the table, definitely not leaves. Coffee maker had coffee in it. One bed had no sheets. Only 1 bedroom of 8 had a trash can. I called Saturday morning because the freezer was making loud noises from 3 AM- 5AM even recorded it so they could hear it. They said someone would be there soon. At 7PM I had to call again. A man came about 1 1/2 hours later said same issue was reported several weeks ago and they replaced the ice maker which was obviously not the problem. There was ice near the fan and when the fan came on it would vibrate causing the noise. That night we were able to sleep.

My family enjoyed our stay very much. The indoor pool was a lot of fun, there was plenty of space for everyone to have meals together, play games and plan our days there. There were a couple of minor issues with the property but nothing that interfered with our trip. There were a few walls that had been patched up with spackle but not finished and there were 2 rollaway beds that were not usable. Fortunately we didn't need them. The location was great.
