If you wish to be directly on the Mississippi, this is the place. Large deck, just a bit south of lock 14. Home is imaculate, clean, with plenty of river views. Hot tub available (didn't use) but was prepped and ready. Great place to be lazy but there's lots to see and do nearby. The host was excellent, we will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay—being right on the Mississippi River made for a relaxing and unique setting. Watching the birds and river activity was a highlight, and the hot tub was a great touch, especially in the evenings. The home was clean, and the listing was accurate. It’s minimally decorated but comfortable, and the walk-in closet provided plenty of storage for clothes and luggage.A couple minor things to note: the bed was just okay—not uncomfortable, but not especially great either. The shower is quite small, which could be challenging for taller guests. Also, while the hot tub is great, it doesn’t have any shade, so it can get pretty intense to use during the day in direct sunlight.Overall, a nice, clean place in a great location—we had a relaxing stay and would recommend it.
