Eric's Landing is a wonderful riverfront home with plenty to entertain. With a pool table, 2 flat screen cable TVs, open floor plan, BBQ grill, outdoor dining, great river and redwood views, this basic yet comfortable vacation home is a haven for fun and relaxation. In the summer, a large dock on the river is the perfect place to hang or launch the 2 kayaks and canoe that are provided mid-June through mid-September. Or, walk two doors down to the neighborhood beach. Eric's Landing is just a mile from Guerneville and close to Russian River Valley wineries, Armstrong Redwoods and the Sonoma Coast.
The open living, kitchen and dining area, the BBQ deck, full bathroom and both bedrooms are located on the upper level. The dining table comfortably seats 6, and the two futons in the living room are oriented towards the large wood-burning fireplace, 40 flat screen TV with cable and DVD Player. Large, river-facing windows dominate the room and sliding doors lead out to a fully-enclosed BBQ deck that overlooks the river. The fully-equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, electric stove, toaster, microwave and coffee-maker, is open to the large living space. A bar counter with three stools offers a place for people to hang out with the cook. Down a short hallway, doors lead to the bathroom and bedrooms. Both bedrooms have queen beds. The master bedroom has a 32 flatscreen cable TV. The bathroom has a large bathtub/shower and a his/hers vanity.
On the lower level is a 2 car garage and a rec room with a pool table. Off the pool table room, there is a second bathroom. Outside, the large yard has a picnic area and a hammock under the redwoods. A path and stairs lead down to the river dock. The path to the river is, in part, the natural river bank and these are not easily accessible for everyone. Maximum Occupancy and Quiet Hours: The maximum occupancy at Eric's Landing is 6. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. Outdoor amplified sound is prohibited at any time.
Parking: On-site parking is permitted for a maximum of 2 vehicles. RVs, trailers and campers are prohibited, per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance.
Bed Sizes: Master Bedroom: Queen Bed, Second Bedroom: Queen Bed, Living Room: 2 Queen Futons
Heat Source: Central Heat, Wood Burning Fireplace.
Rec/Game Room: The game room is an unheated, uninsulated space. Temperature varies throughout the year.
A/C: The house does not have air conditioning. Being near the coast, the night time temps drop and just opening some windows is usually enough to cool the house.
Stairs: There are no interior stairs between the upper and lower levels.
A note about the lot next door: Construction is happening in the lot next door, beginning at 8 am on weekdays. Crews are not typically active on the weekends. The amount of noise from the activity will vary as the project progresses. The project is expected to last through early 2023.

Location was great, and we loves having the kayaks and canoes. House had everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again!

The perfect get-away spot right on the river. very private and roomy. great yard for the dog to roam around too.

We had a simply wonderful vacation at Eric's Landing. The house was well equipped and comfortable. We initially had concerns about the size of the house since we had friends staying with us, but it proved to be big enough for all of us, including our dogs who were very safe in the fenced yard. We especially liked the location. While it is advertised as close to beaches, don't let possible noise be a concern. It was quiet and really wonderful.
My only concern about the place was that, when we arrived, the canoe and kayaks were all in the garage. The slope to the river was steep with a significant turn thrown in. I would have been happier not to have to get the canoe, especially, down the slope.
