Historically accurate restoration of a dry-stacked rock home with sealed cement interior walls, air conditioning and spectacular views of Big Bend National Park.

A beautiful spot to watch the stars with a firepit for company. The room was exceptionally clean with thick white fluffy towels and robes. The AC worked well to keep it cool and the fridge- freezer was right outside the door. It's very peaceful up there and looks back down on the small town, we loved the quiet. A great spot to launch into Big Bend National Park with some good food options around. Mostly it's very rustic around there. BYOB to quite a few eateries. Don't forget to take sugar and milk for your coffee!!

Staying in Mimi's Guestroom was one of the very BEST decisions I made when planning my Far West Texas trip with friends. In fact, it was my my favorite overnight stay of my entire 10-day trip. What made it so was because it was completely comfortable, authentic, classy, and unassumingly cool. Waking up in that incredibly comfortable king-sized bed & watching the pre-dawn light & eventual sunrise come up over the mountains was an unforgettable experience. Can't thank them enough for & loved everything!
