Sea Isle Sailfish boasts two large decks (one screened-in) and two secure separate entrances, ideal for families looking to find the perfect property equipped with a mother-in-law suite, all in one place for fun and easy vacationing. This adorable canal home features 3 bedrooms and two full bathrooms, sleeping 9 guests. Located on the quiet west end of Galveston Island, only 25 minutes from all of the action in Galveston!
The entrance to the main house leads to the gathering areas which include a large, screened-in deck, with a picnic table to dine al fresco. Next enjoy the open layout floor plan of the living area which features comfy couches, a kitchen, a dining area with seating for 6, as well as additional seating for 4 guests at the island, and a full private bathroom with a step-in shower. This main area has 2 bedrooms, the primary suite, as well as a single over queen bunk room for the kids. Head outdoors to enjoy nature at its finest with a dock for fishing, a swing for enjoying the breeze, a vintage porcelain fish cleaning sink, an outdoor shower with hot & cold water, and an outdoor bar area and water/beach equipment for guest use during your stay at Sea Isle Sailfish! The second level leading to the mother-in-law suite also has a large deck with seating for two to relax. The mother-in-law suite has its own entrance, as is not part of the main house. It features a lovely bedroom suite, which is the third and final bedroom of Sea Isle Sailfish. The suite has the second full bathroom with a walk-in shower. A full-size washer and dryer are located on the outdoor deck of the main house for use during your stay. Due to liability, the lift is not available for guest use.
Out back on the canal side is the perfect spot to sit, relax, fish, grill, and entertain on the oversized deck.

Guests will be provided with a start-up supply of household items such as laundry soap, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc so that upon check-in you do not need to run to the store. Enjoyed our stay here! We love the access to the canal! I would have loved to see some kayaks and a paddle board, but wasn’t a deal breaker for us. The stairs are pretty tall so be prepared for that as well. The host was extremely responsive even in the evenings. A/C worked great. Enjoyed the screened in deck to keep mosquitoes away. Closets in the primary room could’ve been more tidy. But overall, it accomplished everything we needed.

It was a lovely home, very comfortable and easy to adapt to. They did something I have not seen before that made the trip extra easy. There were pictures in each cabinet that showed you the contents. That made it really easy to find what you were looking for as well as an easy process to put things away after you use them. It was a very relaxing well appointed environment. Loved the swing and the hammock. Super comfortable and vey much a home away from home.

The Good: My kids absolutely loved it here. they loved fishing off the dock and the bedroom was perfect for them. Also, having the mother-in-law suite was convenient as well for my parents who traveled with us. The host communicated very well with us if we ever had questions. The house had just about any cooking utensil you could think of needing. The bad: A couple hours before check-in we received a message from the host stating that during their pre check-in inspection they found that the shower in the mother-in-law suite was leaking and asked us not to use it. That was kind of a bummer for us as we had 4 adults and 3 kids in our travel group all having to share one shower every day. The host did offer and send a refund but it was only 25/day this supposedly is VRBO policy. They were not willing to budge off of this 25/day refund. Had we known booking this we would have only been able to use one shower, we would have booked elsewhere. Also, on day 2 of our visit, my parents found 2 cockroaches in their bathroom. We let the host know, and they were willing to bring by some bug spray, although my dad had already killed them with a shoe. Where there are 2, there are probably more. One of the wooden benches for the picnic table was broken and not usable during our stay. Also, it looks as if whoever cleans the facility does not do thorough cleanings between guests. We found some left behind items under the couches and the dust was THICK on the back of the bedframe.
