-Notes about winter Travel: In the winter Leavenworth can receive significant amounts of snow. It's always suggested to take proper precautions when driving to an area with significant snow, such as; watching mountain pass reports and local weather, driving AWD/4WD vehicles with traction tires, and being prepared with chains. During the winter months, we have contracted snow plowers who come plow the driveway during snow events, the driveway is maintained regularly.
