What an absolutely gem of a property! Water views from all sides of the living area and a gorgeous fire to keep you warm. House was spotless with everything you needed for a comfortable stag and more. Cathie was so friendly and responsive. We had a fabulous stay and already talking about heading back!! Extra touches on arrival like eggs, milk, bread etc were just so lovely. Thanks for an amazing weekend making family memories.

Fantasy house in a brilliant location. The location was amazing, right on the water and the view over the estuary from the house were lovely. It’s an older house and we didn’t find the beds particularly comfortable but it certainly had everything we needed and the welcome pack of goodies was a nice touch. The main stairs to the house were a little tiresome and probably not suitable for people or pets with any mobility issues. The internet was pretty good, the shower was nice, the kitchen fairly well stocked and there was a lovely woodfire heater that we didn’t need this time but I’m sure it would be nice on cooler days.Expect a little noise from boats and people given how close the house is to the water but it was generally fairly nice and quiet when we were there.

Another fantastic stay at Mad on Marlo. Cathie is a fantastic host who thinks of all the little extras. You just can’t beat the location. A clean and tidy home with every you could want or need taken care of.
