We are offering this chalet for rent, located 1.5 km from the ski slopes, with plenty of snow (experienced skiers can ski right to and from the chalet).
The Honka chalet, located in Crête-Cote (1,800 m), is new (2010), cozy, and very comfortable. It offers a view of Mont Blanc.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Rentals are only available from Sunday to Sunday → no traffic jams and concierge services available to welcome you!
The chalet spans 3 levels with a total area of 160 m²:
- First floor: 2 garages, 1 ski room equipped with a ski rack and boot warmer, a laundry room with a washer and dryer,
- First floor: 4 bedrooms and 3 shower rooms,
- Second floor: living area with living room, kitchen opening onto the dining room, 1 bedroom with a toilet and sink,
There are balconies on every level.
The chalet is 1.5 km by road from the center of the Plagne 1800 resort. Free parking is available in front of the chalet.
To ski from the chalet, you can head down through the hamlet and take a trail that leads to the slopes. This route is reserved exclusively for experienced skiers (red-run level). This trail connects to the André Martzolf run and provides access to the La Roche chairlifts. The return trip on skis is off-piste through the pine trees (100 to 200 m) and by crossing a road
The hamlet is served by a free shuttle bus that runs from 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. from December through April, taking less than 5 minutes to reach La Plagne 1800 and the La Roche chairlifts. These chairlifts provide access to the vast La Plagne-Paradiski ski area.
The chalet is 500 m from the Olympic bobsled track.
The shuttle also serves the surrounding villages.

The property is fantastic, HOWEVER:1) It isn’t ski in/out (at least a 300m walk before you ski through trees to the slopes to get to a red run. We had to drive every day and we’re experienced skiers!2) The room configuration is NOT what is on the website (actual configuration is three doubles, one single, one room with two bunk beds). This made our lives hard as we had told children which rooms they would be in, based on description. We did have a couple of issues while staying, but they were fixed VERY QUICKLY. The owner (local contact) were excellent.

We had an amazing stay in Chalet Honka. It was very well equipped and very spacious. All the beds were made on arrival and there were plenty of towels. The chalet is situated in a superb location just minutes from La plagne centre.

Super house. Spacious , very nice amenities. Kitchen layout and cooking devices are top notch. Really a very nice house. Special shout out to the guardians of the house, approachable, responsive and generally nice helpfull and friendly people.
Nice walking options to La Plagne centre and all in between. Can ski in and out. But need snow and some experience. Bus connections are good.

The chalet was lovely but a proper hike to get to it.
The listing is very misleading when it says 1 min walk or ski in / ski out.
You have to do a walk to and from the bus stop which is a hike after a day skiing. Or a long walk through the woods in the dark which is 20 minute walk as the bus only comes once an hour.
It was a surprise that we had to make our own beds when we got there with sheets and duvet covers that dont fit!!
Plus there was a lack of basics thatbyou would expect in a nice chalet like this such as toilet rolls!
When it was leaving day, the cleaner or host was one if the rudest woman i have met. She actually messaged us in the morning to tell us to put the laundry on for her for all the bedding before she arrived! We were all gob smacked. She tried to kick us out at 9.30am even though the vooking listing says 11am. We stayed untill 10.55am whenthe taxis come.
Overall - great chalet but wrong location for a family holiday. Spend a bit more and get closer to the lifts, bars, restaurants and shops etc.
