We even have a skate park and basketball court for those who want something to do in addition to the beach. The Tamarindo Bay offers surf breaks for multiple levels of surfers and calm waters for those who just want to swim and float. The Tamarindo beach is a beautiful beach for walking, playing volleyball or just sitting and watching the sunset. Just outside of Tamarindo, there are amazing bike trails for mountain bikers, and it's an easy drive to many other amazing beaches. Casa Pipilacha is a luxury Moroccan style villa designed like an artwork by Abraham Valenzuela, one of the most acclaimed architects of Costa Rica. It is located on an amazing and tranquil piece of land near the top of the hill overlooking Playa Tamarindo and serves as a quiet hideaway, yet close to the beach, shopping, dining and entertainment amenities of Tamarindo. All areas of the house offer breathtaking panoramic views of Playa Tamarindo and Playa Langosta and the endless ocean.
In front of the living room and the large roofed terrace sits a huge "infinity" pool with two smaller sun terraces – all with a fantastic 180 degree view. Plunge in the pool, relax on the terrace and enjoy the picture-perfect sunsets from this magnificent lookout!
The kitchen is fully equipped and offers all amenities even for the passionate cook. A gas BBQ is also available. You can choose between two dining areas: outside on the terrace or inside the living room. The entire house is screened in and opens onto the terrace.
The master suite features a king size bed. The second bedroom comes with a queen size bed. Both bedrooms have panoramic windows. The whole house is fully air-conditioned.
The third bedroom suite is a stand alone building 50 meters from the main house. The suite comes with a sitting area, kitchenette, and queen size bed. Surrounded by tropical gardens, it's the perfect private location for a couple or single looking for a little space while still being close to family and friends. With a nice outdoor seating area you can unwind under the stars or wake up with a coffee while enjoying the hummingbirds and butterflies feeding in the gardens. Please note this "casita" or "apartment" is separate from the main house, still a very nice place to stay just not as luxurious as the house. We absolutely loved staying at Casa Pipilacha.
From the second you see the beautiful iron doors leading to the driveway you felt away from everything.
The view is by far the best view we have ever experienced in all our visits to Costa Rica.
The convenience of the home to the busy nightlife of Tamarindo but yet being far enough to feel the peacefulness the house offers. ( yet still hear the waves at night)
The house has an old charm to it.
Rustic elegance. The pool was amazing. The house was grand for just being 2 bedrooms.
The casita could use a little TLC but having the extra space was nice for my young adult son and his friend.
The management and staff were very quick to respond to any concerns. ( minor like how to turn stove on- need a lighter).
My recommendation is if you don’t like something
Relax …let them know and I am certain it will be resolved quickly. Regardless ,that view and outdoor space is priceless.

Place was amazing. Property, house, pool, views, neighbors etc. List listing left me speechless and wanting to move to CR. I will be back soon. Pura Vida!

This was a great rental for our family (mom and dad, kids 9 and 11, and grandmother). The pool/patio area, in particular, was incredible. The house is completely private and secluded. You can’t even see the neighboring properties. The house is up a very steep hill, so take a car or taxi down to the beach.

We loved celebrating Christmas at this lovely home. The view is unbeatable and the kitchen is perfectly stocked! BBQ and covered patio with outdoor fans and lounge chairs! Amazing!!!
