This luxury 4-bedroom, 6-bathroom house is the perfect mountain getaway located just 12 miles from the west gate of Yellowstone National Park. This secluded home offers quick access to the Targhee National Forest, Henry's Lake, and the town of Island Park. Three king-bed bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and an extra-large room with two sets of queen-sized bunk beds and a large play area make this home great for large groups looking to enjoy all that the Greater Yellowstone area has to offer.
With all the additional fold-out beds this home easily accommodates up to 15 guests. -Air Conditioning: The home does not have central A/C. Fans, and the natural mountain breeze help keep the lodge comfortable, even in July and August, nighttime temperatures can cool to around 50°F. Outside of the warmest summer months, evening temperatures are often in the 40s or below. We recommend opening the windows in the evening to enjoy the cool mountain air, then closing the windows and lowering the shades during the day to help keep the lodge naturally cool and comfortable.

-Winter safety: Snow and ice may slide from the roof during winter conditions. Please use caution around the exterior of the home.

The West Entrance to Yellowstone National Park operates seasonally. The summer season typically runs from the 3rd Saturday in April through November 1st. The entrance closes for the fall shoulder season and typically reopens in mid-December for the winter oversnow travel season, which runs through mid-March. After the winter oversnow season ends, the West Entrance remains closed until the summer season begins in April.

The house is great for large parties. The bed set up with the queen bunks were great for siblings. The beds were a little too soft for our liking though. The house was gorgeous and had anything you needed for large parties.
Perfect location for entering Yellowstone and going into town but staying far away from the crowds. We got to see a mama deer and her twin babies zooming back and forth in the houses backyard one morning.

We were absolutely thrilled with this Vrbo! It was so beautiful, clean, and spacious! The location was perfect and so close to the West Yellowstone gate with all the FUN that area has to offer. The kitchen was awesome and had everything we could think of to make delicious meals. The rooms were large and comfortable. The linens and restroom's were impeccably clean. We loved that everyone in our party had their own restroom facility. We ALL loved the house so much we’d love to come back and just stay the weekend again for the relaxing environment and to enjoy the hot tub. Thank you to the host for the wonderful stay! We loved our time and cannot wait to come back! We will definitely rent from you again!

We spent 7 nights at this house in Island Park, ID. It’s just 15 to 20 minutes from West Yellowstone, MT, and the West Entrance to Yellowstone. The kitchen is huge and has 2 dishwashers and has room for 4 people cooking and preparing meals together. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and well equipped. The out door dining was great for our group. The children really enjoyed being all together in the large kids bunk room! I highly recommend this property.

This spacious home could not have been better situated for our Yellowstone family vacation. It also contained everything we needed for our family of 12 ranging from age 1 to 72. Loved the hot tub for relaxing at the end of each day in the park.
