This is one of twelve apartments in a private development within the Mar Menor Golf Resort. They are set in landscaped grounds containing a large pool, solely for the use of owners and guests of these apartments, and children's pool. The apartment also has its own private garden.
The main reception room comprises an open plan living / dining and kitchen area. The fabulous, modern kitchen has oven, hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave etc. A separate outdoor cupboard contains a washing machine. An iron and ironing board are available. There is a breakfast bar and separate dining table and chairs. The lounge area has a sofa and chairs for relaxing in, plush display unit with a flat screen TV with international channels is provided. Free WIFI is also in the apartment.
There are two bedrooms, both with luxury en-suite shower rooms. Both bedrooms have king sized beds, drawer units and wardrobes. The en-suite to bedroom two is a wet room, suitable for a wheelchair.
All rooms are air-conditioned to provide cool air in the summer months and warm air for the cooler winter months. The rooms also all have full height sliding doors, opening onto the large patio with the garden area and golf course beyond. Outside there is a comfortable rattan sofa set for relaxing on, two sun loungers and a parasol. From both inside and outside you can enjoy the wonderful views of the golf course.
On the resort is a 5* hotel, where you can have something to eat or drink whilst overlooking the fabulous pool area and golf course beyond. In the resort's Town Centre, there is a further restaurant and the community pool (opening times and entry conditions vary). Then just outside one of the resort's entrances is "El Boulevard", a commercial area where you will find a further choice of bars and restaurants. There is also a well-stocked Spar supermarket inside the resort.
As well as the on-site Jack Nicklaus-designed, 18-hole golf course, there are padel courts, a tennis court, outdoor table tennis tables, and a petanca court. There is an outdoor "trim trail", with exercise equipment dotted along a meandering path, in addition to a well-equipped gym. For the children, there is a play park which has slides, climbing frames, see-saws and swings, an animal-themed crazy golf course, and throughout the resort there are plenty of open, green areas, ideal for children to have a run around.
The resort is a short drive from the beaches of the Mar Menor and those of the Mediterranean, a little further up the coast. Nearby are the beautiful cities of Cartagena and Murcia, both well worth a visit. You will also find several large shopping centres within easy reach, for a little retail thereapy.
**NB The damage deposit is to be paid by bank transfer or debit card, along with the final payment, 8 weeks prior to arrival. There is no facility to pay this in cash at the property**

The property was very modern, bright and airy and well equipped. I am disabled and the apartment had a wet room which was ideal. Everything about my stay was perfect, the ground floor apartment, the large pool, the location - absolutely perfect. Would highly recommend a stay.

We enjoyed the property very much. However we were advised only a few days before arriving of ongoing remedial works on the property . As a result our holiday was spoiled by the daily noise from the basement starting at 8a.m. every day and one day at 7 15a.m. We feel that this was not acceptable given the cost of the property.

Lovely property, very clean and good location for access to the onsite supermarket & paddle courts, crazy golf and small playground (under trees) for younger children. The swimming pool is 100 yards from the back of the property but there are only 4 sun loungers around the pool . At the back of the accomodation there are 2 sun longers on the patio area and I feel that 2 more are required should there be 4 adults sharing the property. Easy level walk to onsite restaurants and approximately 10 minute walk from bars/restaurants located just outside the resort.
