The surrounding nature reserve provides a particularly lush backdrop.



Explore the rural surroundings of Auxais in the Manche department and go on excursions to the Marais du Cotentin et du Bessin Regional Nature Park with its extensive wetlands. Visit Carentan with its harbour or discover the historic D-Day beaches of Normandy. Head to Saint-Lô and visit Notre-Dame Church and the historic city walls. The west coast of the Cotentin Peninsula, with its long sandy beaches, is also ideal for a varied day trip.
