Due to its mild and pleasant climate, a combination of coast and mountainous hinterland, it is an ideal holiday destination all year round. One of the sights that adorn it are houses and villas with interesting architecture from the Habsburg era. One of these is the Villa Angiolini, which houses the Museum of Tourism. Cultural events include numerous concerts and festivals in the summer. You can take day trips to the nearby islands or to the national parks of Uka, Risnjak or Plitvice.
